Managing Director of the Swiss Auto Recycling Foundation Daniel Christen visited the ERC R&D facility
IARC 2025 - International Automotive Recycling Congress
Antwerp Belgien, März 2025

Thanks to the support of Mr Christen, the ERC project was presented to a wide audience at the International Automotive Recycling Conference in Antwerp.

Samples of processed glass and PVB/polyvinyl butyral film produced by the ERC machine were presented.
Other technological developments from ERC using recycled PVB material were also presented.
One of the developments is a bulletproof sheet made of PVB that can stop a 9 mm bullet from a distance of 20 meters.
The most important development is the production of devices made from recycled PVB/polyvinyl butyral material.

During the IARC 2025 Conference, the ERC Environmental Programme was personally presented to the distinguished President and Chairman of the International Conference of Automobile Recyclers, Olivier François.

Catherine Lenaerts, Managing Director of Febelauto, expressed great interest in the ERC environmental program and its implementation in Belgium and beyond.
Communication and negotiation processes have begun.
Malta,
Lommel, Belgium, March 2025

Maltha is a leading recycler of hollow and flat glass waste and a supplier of clean glass cullet as a high-quality raw material for the glass and glass wool industries.
Glass can be recycled endlessly without any loss of quality. This is a typical example of the circular economy.
With over 250 employees, Maltha processes more than 1 million tons of glass waste from companies and municipalities every year.
In March 2025, a visit was made to Maltha in Belgium, a company with over 100 years of experience.
Wim Merket, Malta Lommel's Operations Manager, noted that similar technologies to those offered by ERC had not yet been implemented.
The communication and negotiation process for the implementation of the ERC Environmental Program has also begun.
Solids & Recycling Technology
Dortmund, Germany, October 2024
Visits to trade exhibitions on plastics processing and production, as well as analysis of offers on the European market, stimulate the production of recycled PVB (polyvinyl butyral) as a promising new material.
Although PVB is not yet a material used in the plastics industry, equipment for manufacturing a wide range of products made from this innovative material is already available on the market.
These equipment includes 3D printers, extruders, and punch presses, which can be used in both small workshops and large production facilities.

An agreement has been reached with machine manufacturers for the test production of new products made from recycled PVB/polyvinyl butyral.
AVT Auto Recyclers Conference & Trade Fair Hohenroda, Germany October 2024
A law is currently being drafted to restrict the incineration of glass due to its harmful effects, making the ERC's environmental program particularly relevant to the EU.

During the presentation of the ERC Environmental Program project, leading representatives of the German automotive recycling market became aware of ERC.
Numerous companies, including BMW Munich, expressed interest in implementing the ERC Environmental Program and deploying ERC equipment at all automotive recycling sites in Germany.

The environmental program and the ERC machine were presented at booth E003 at the AVT - Autoverwerter Tagung & Messe in October 2024 in Hohenroda, Germany.
AMI Plastics World Expos Europe
Belgium Brussel, September 2024

Among the submitted production facility proposals, approximately 18 different companies expressed interest in participating in the implementation of the ERC environmental program.
PVB test samples were sent to obtain new products for a wide range of applications.
Recycling Beurs – 2023
Netherlands, November 2023

In November 2023, there was an introduction with Mr. Cees Duijn, Managing Director of Du-Con-Trade and Blue2Green, a technology company developing a medical waste recycling project.
Mr. Duijn expressed his interest in participating in the strategic development and implementation of the ERC Environmental Program and in the deployment of ERC machines in the Benelux countries.
Negotiations for the launch of the ERC Environmental Program project are underway.
K-FAIR -
The World's No1 Trade Fair for Plastics andRubber
Dusseldorf, October 2022

At the world's largest plastics trade fair, products made of PVB/polyvinyl butyral were neither presented nor known, which significantly broadens the horizon of prospects for the application of the material produced at ERC plants in new technologies.
