Ecological program

Since 1977, laminated safety glass has been used in the automotive industry. Unfortunately, this contaminated laminated safety glass is not entering the global recycling chain but ends up in landfills or is burned in high-temperature furnaces, where it then enters the atmosphere and spreads throughout Europe, causing significant environmental damage. The amount of laminated safety glass is increasing daily, and there is no solution.

This type of waste is exported from Switzerland to Belgium and Germany for incineration, which incurs high costs.

Goal of the program

  • Main objective of the Ecological Recycling Complex is the recovery of used automotive glass from hazardous waste, transferring the entire waste stream of automotive glass into a closed production cycle, which will have a positive impact on the economy and the environment.

  • It is necessary to involve all participants in the cycle of car windows into the ecological alternative program, assess the significance of the ecological alternative program competently, work with statistical data, and communicate with the manufacturers of end-of-life automotive glass.

  • The aim of the program is to redirect the waste streams of automotive laminated glass (triplex) from landfills and costly high-temperature incineration plants to glass production facilities.

  • The goal is to manufacture and operate over 1000 of our recycling machines in 30 EU countries.

Green Recycling Today and Tomorrow

  • An increase in resources with positive, dynamic economic impacts;

  • Possibility to reduce the costs of glass products by using up to 20% recycled raw materials in manufacturing;

  • Reduction of harmful environmental impacts;

  • Reduction of financial costs for automotive glass waste manufacturers for expensive disposal in high-temperature furnaces, which significantly harm the environment;

  • Lowering the costs of glass products by up to 20% through the creation of an inexhaustible source of recycled raw materials - used glass and polyvinyl butyral granulate;

  • Money stays within the country.

Harmful disposal yesterday and today

  • Cross-border transport;

  • Expensive disposal;

  • Environmental damage.

The Result

  • Reduced environmental impact from emissions due to harmful disposal of car windows.

  • Creation of an inexhaustible source of recycled glass.

  • Preservation of financial turnover within the country.
